Due to the infection, Messe Friedrichshafen has decided not to hold the "KPA-Kunststoff Produkte Aktuell" trade fair in March 2022. The resumption of this activity must be postponed to 2023. At the same time, the fair turns to Easyfairs, the organizer of the international fair. It has received the support of former trade fair co-founder Horst Rudolph to support a new start in Ulm. "Due to the infection, we have decided with a heavy heart not to hold the 'KPA-Kunststoff Produkte Aktuell' trade fair originally planned for March 2022. At the same time, we are looking forward to handing over the future of KPA to our long-standing and competent guest event partner Easyfairs," says Thomas Grunewald, Head of Guest Events at Messe Friedrichshafen.
Messe KPA switches to Easyfairs
Messe Friedrichshafen also announced that the trade show is getting new organizers. The international trade fair company Easyfairs will take over KPA on November 30, 2021. "KPA is focused on being a very suitable supplier platform for the plastics processing industry and its user sectors. Regional trade shows are not just product presentations. On the contrary, they are a communication and networking platform for our target groups. Easyfairs DACH Managing Director Roland Brand emphasized that in combination with the holistic concept, they become smart, focused events that are attractive to visitors and exhibitors and, above all, deliver results. The 4th KPA will now take place in March 2023 in Uruguay At the M exhibition center.
Horst Rudolph, co-founder of Trade Fair, is part of the team
For this acquisition, Easyfairs and Horst Rudolph received active support from the former co-founders of the fair for a new start. "The KPA Fair is a concept that I developed and launched together with Carl Hanser Verlag. It is very close to my heart. I look forward to making KPA a platform with Easyfairs a few years ago: a relevant and very practical plastics product, exhibition of work on new developments and related raw materials," said Horst Rudolph.
Strengthening the product portfolio of industrial fairs
This acquisition strengthens the product portfolio of Easyfairs industrial fairs and underlines the growth path and business expansion of the group in the DACH region. In 2019, Easyfairs has acquired the subcontracting trade fair Mechanical Engineering FMB and the fully automated trade fair series, and the regional positioning is also very clear. Currently Easyfairs organizes more than 20 trade fairs per year in the DACH region.
