Mesago Messe Frankfurt and the Formnext team are looking forward to Formnext from November 16-19 as a presence event in Frankfurt in November 2021. Registrations from around 450 exhibitors and the long-awaited face-to-face reunion opportunities have raised great expectations in the global industry. "In recent years of discussions with the AM community, we have once again recognized the importance of Formnext. The show has unparalleled vitality and innovation. You know, with the support of the entire community, we used to be the Formnext Vice of Mesago Messe President Sascha F Wenzler said that it is once again great to have such a creative space where people can exchange ideas in person, have a cup of coffee for evective conversations, touch products and discuss their innovations.
As organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH, preparations for Formnext 2021 are in full swing and this event will bring many highlights. These include top lectures by industry experts, presentations from the partner country Italy, as well as innovations in the purmundus challenge and the PitchNext start-up challenge. In addition, TCT conferences and stages, as well as special programs by VDMA AG AM and BE-AM (built environment), are to be taken seriously. ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) also organized the first international standardization seminar the day before Formnext.
Major companies in the industry are also participating in Formnext this year. Some 450 exhibitors (55% from abroad) have registered, including 3D Systems, Additive Industries, Addup, Arburg, Autodesk, BigRep, DMG Mori, Dynadrite, EOS, ExOne, Farsoon, Formlabs, GE, Hexagon, HP, Keyence, Markforged, Materialise, Meltio, Nexa 3D, Prima Industrie, Renishaw, Sandvik, Siemens, Stratasys, Trumpf, Voxeljet and XJet. Many people expect the health and safety of all participants to be paramount. Therefore, the protection and hygiene concepts formulated last year continue to adapt to the epidemic and legal requirements, according to the organizer's website. The wider corridors in the pavilion and the additional communication and waiting areas in the areas frequented by the exhibition should help to maintain the necessary safety distances. 3G concepts (vaccinations, rehabilitation, testing) will be introduced.
The physical event will be held in two weeks from Nov. 30. -01 Dec. 2021, complemented by Formnext Digital Days. With the rapid growth of the AM community and the demand for 3D printed products in all industries, it is very important for those still affected by travel restrictions to participate digitally in the exchange of ideas.
