The Industrievereinigung für Verstärkte Kunststoffe e. V. (Industrial Association for Reinforced Plastics) awards prizes in the field of fibre reinforced plastics (FRP) / composites.
For this reason, AVK invites applications for the renowned innovation award of AVK 2020 in the field of
Fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) / composites in the following categories:
- Innovative products/components or applications
- Research and science
- Innovative processes and procedures
The aim of the Innovation Award is to promote new components and products or applications made of fibre-reinforced plastics and to promote new processes or methods of manufacturing these fibre-reinforced plastics.
Another award goes to colleges, universities and institutes for outstanding scientific work in research and science.
Special emphasis is placed on the topic of "sustainability".
In order to make the performance of the entire composites industry public, an important goal is to honour the innovations as well as the people and companies/institutions behind them. The submissions are judged by a top-class jury with experts from the composites segment.
The closing date for applications is 31 March 2020.
The award ceremony will take place during Composites Europe on 10 November 2020 in Stuttgart.
